That’s the pace I’ve been on lately. I can’t seem any too inspired (I think I just mixed up words there) to blog much. Just enough to let you know what I’m up to. The new job has kept me super busy and with my new 270 degree window view I commonly have seen sunrises and sunsets on the same day. The job seems pretty fun so far although I haven’t done much as I’ve been tying up loose ends.
As for me, I keep toying (and yo-yoing) with getting fat and not getting fat. Some days I am super inspired to get back into top-notch shape and on others I am inspired to eat. All and all I am getting back towards being in shape though. Not sure what my plan is for 2008 but as far as I know I really don’t plan on doing any bike racing this year. Not sure what I want to do this summer yet. My foot has been hurting again which is really a bummer.
Weekend was good, the Colts loss seemed inevitable this year (just hoped it would come a week later.) We bowled the best team in bowling and took 1 of 3 and I had a decent series. Had some tasty food, hung out with good friends and family, played some hoops, hit the dog park and even saw the movie Juno. Good flick! Even went to the Badgers basketball game this past Thursday night, it’s been maybe two years since my last game, it was a blast! This coming weekend will be odd. No real plans that I know of and the peak will be at 6:30pm on Sunday when the Packers play. I get to spend all weekend looking forward to Sunday night. Last night we won our basketball game. I never thought we’d ever be 2-0 but we’ve had 2 dominating victories so far.
Check out the
feature in this set, presidential candidate cards and autographs. Last year they had cards with astronaut autographs, this year candidates. So I’ve decided that if I can somehow procure an autographed version of one, that’s who I’ll vote for. I figure becoming president would increase the value of the card. Of course if I get just the regular version of a card I’ll make a display at my desk at work that says: Today I am voting for (and then I’ll insert the card in that display.) Should be good, to show that my vote based on baseball cards is as good as someone else’s vote who spends hours debating and deciding among candidates. I’m just like the
Onion article, just with my own twist.
In
Waffle House news, dude eats with a grenade on his table. Just in case the scattered all the way hashbrowns don’t kill him. Not a bad choice for your last meal on earth (or in his case his last meal not in prison.)
