Another busy weekend…

A weekend of rest and relaxation and sitting at home? That’ll have to be next weekend. This weekend was busy. Friday we went and saw Smokin’ Aces. If you get the opportunity to see it, pass. It might be an ok rental but no more than that. All the hype and no substance. What a bummer. Saturday reminded me of my spring weekends last year. Got up and played two hours of basketball. Then I helped a friend move a couch. Got home and got ready and Jerry and I got out for a 3 hour ride, doing a reverse Ironman loop. It was my slowest road ride in a while. Doesn’t help when you start against the wind into the hills, by the time we had a tailwind I was fried and freezing. Of course my slow riding bored Jerry who was on his cross bike messing around…oh well! Got some lunch in and a little nap and then it was off to dodgeball. We didn’t play well and didn’t advance to the final round but had a great time. Got home and was cashed…seriously! Sunday we got up early and it looked crappy! Perfect for a trip to Illinois. We left early and it was a tough drive down but we made it to Ikea. I picked up my birthday present (dresser) and we did some shopping. The real highlight was the trip to Dave & Busters afterward. Great food and an awesome time! Did a little more shopping on the way home and we were back before dark, in time to go out with the in-laws and then it was home and asleep on the couch by about 8:15.

So this looks like a good time. If only we had a crookedy street here.

Everyone loves tacos…to not love tacos is to not be human. Well here are the goods in Madison. My wanna be yuppie life has had me only try one of these places (and that was for tamales, not tacos) so hopefully I can get out there and get some eats. For those who are content with their yuppie or suburban life tacos, the recommendations are Pasquals (shredded beef) and Tubbs (although I’ve never eaten there, people I kinda trust love it.)

If those sites don't make you excited than you probably like stupid stuff like this...OK so it's funny but still.

If only I drank more beer and was better at riding my bike I could tour Ireland in an RV...

Is that enough links for you? I'll save another one for later then...
